Tools to help you fight prohibition

Sure, you know prohibiting an adult from putting whatever he or she wants in their body is wrong. You know that America’s current drug policy harms more people than it saves. You know it’s destroying civil liberties and costs over $100 billion a year and leads us into foreign wars and all the rest. Still, when you are put on the spot and get into an argument with a serious drug warrior… someone who really believes he’s doing the right thing, it can be difficult.

I used to worry about getting “caught” without the correct answer in a public debate with a DA, cop, or politician. I used to feel insecure… reluctant to discuss the topic. I worried about getting sand kicked in my face by a prohibitionist bully.

Well no more. There are techniques that will let you vanquish the most vehement opponents. tried and true methods that have worked over and over. It’s hard to get prohibitionists to debate this issue in public anymore and you can read the reasons why here.

The New Prohibition

Bill Masters, Sheriff of San Miguel County, Colorado, the county seat of which is Telluride, has published a collection of essays on various aspects of America’s war on drugs. The book is called “The New Prohibition” (Accurate Press, ISBN 1-888118-1-5) and it’s a winner!

Chapters by Congressman Ron Paul, retired New Jersey State Police narcotics investigator Jack Cole, retired San Jose police chief Joe McNamara, former Counsel to the U.S. House Judiciary Committee Eric Sterling, Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, U.S.District Judge John L. Kane, former Baltimore Mayor Kurt Schmoke, and a host others all eminently qualified to discuss different aspects of this failed policy. I recommend it highly.

My small contribution to this book is a piece called “A Frightening New Trend in America” and you can find it here.
